While conducting an ill-advised experiment to spawn the world’s hottest chili pepper, Boston-based Billy Brown was transformed into HOT POT.
His original productions contain quirky, catchy vocals mixed with rhythmic analog basslines, while his bass-heavy house music performances excel at making his crowd dance and, most importantly, smile. HOT POT has released music on Dirtybird’s Birdfeed, My Techno Weighs A Ton, House of Hustle, Rock Bottom and most notably, NV’D Records, where he is Label Manager. This role has allowed him to test a multitude of unreleased dance floor weapons, keeping his growing audience moving and smiling.
