Today she is affiliated with the ever growing 'Future State' working on albums, podcasts, TV interviews, tours and releases.

One of Sc@r’s best personal achievements was being invited to remix for the Kniteforce 20th Birthday Box Set. For this she produced a remix of Jimmy J and Cru-l-t’s “DJ’s In Full Effect” and also performed live with Luna C on stage in New York in a Scarred Digital Vs Kniteforce 2 hour set.

Phibonacci
Speed Garage - MA

Phibonacci has been in and around the rave scene since 2001. Having listened to electronic music since the mid nineties, the discovery of a culture centered around this genre felt like coming home. Phibonacci began primarily as a visual artist. For many years, music and dance drove her visual art practice as she evolved from live painting at raves from 2002-2004 to VJing from 2004-2006. Under the moniker, "VJ Phi", she collaborated with members of the Glitchcrew and also performed at various local raves. Among some of her gigs were the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, the Burning Man festival, and Ultra Music Festival/WMC. VJ Phi was also one of two resident VJs at the Phoenix Landing for Recycle in 2005.

While Phi enjoyed VJing, she always had a desire to be behind the decks as part of the kinesthetic experience of selecting music and moving the dance floor. She wanted to have a hand in the music that painted images in her mind. As such, Phibonacci was born out of the visual stylings of VJ Phi. Phibonacci learned how to DJ by feeling the patterns of the music through dance and by observing and listening to favorite local DJs. She purchased her first set of turntables in 2006 and began playing out regularly in 2012. Throughout her career as a DJ, she has played internationally and locally for Atari Safari, Mutiny, Live Free and Dance, Diehard on Decks, Rise, WZBC Green, WBRS, Infrasuoni, 30 Gedanken zum Tod, Vinyl Siding, Firefly Precom, Burning Man Decom, Kick It Recordings, 4orce Productions, Good Deed DJs and Beatdown Productions. Phibonacci has been a resident DJ with Beatdown Productions, Kick It Recordings (Subterra), and PBMTV. Phibonacci is currently a resident DJ with Robot Haus, and runs the only UK Garage monthly in New England, USA.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Plans

UPDATE: On February 11th, 2022 the state of Rhode Island lifted the indoor mask mandate and requirements for proof of vaccination or negative test for public settings. That being said, these will no longer be required for entry at events. More info can be found here: https://www.thenewportbuzz.com/breaking-rhode-island-ends-mask-mandate-and-proof-of-vaccine-requirement/34856

While we are so happy to be getting back to live events, we take everyone's health and well-being very seriously and try to keep everyone as safe as possible.  If you are feeling sick the day of the event, please stay home. The safety of the Tight Crew community is our number one priority. If you would like more information about COVID-19 vaccination, below are a list of resources. Tight Crew events are so much more than “just another party” for us. It’s a time when we come together as family, dance to our favorite beats, and let go of the worries of the outside world. But we also want to make sure those around us are being healthy and safe.

We do not condone drug use at our events. If you choose to partake in any illicit substances, please be aware of its potential effects on your body, mind, and nervous system. If you plan on drinking alcohol, be mindful of your body and your limitations. We encourage everyone to water up and stay hydrated, so you can keep your muscles happy and your energy high. If you find yourself in need of water, or any other type of aid, please look for a venue or Tight Crew staff member. We are all here for you, and we will make sure you get the help you need. ❤

On that note, we ask that you look out for your fellow ravers at events; both long-term friends, and complete strangers. If you see someone looking like they need a buddy, introduce yourself, lend a hand, and let them know you’re there for them. It goes a long way. If you see someone being mistreated, say something! If someone appears to be in an uncomfortable situation, ask politely if they are okay. Respect other people’s limits - and your own. Everyone has a bubble and different levels of comfortability, check-in before you touch, hug, or dance in someone’s personal space. We alone are accountable and responsible for our actions, but we as members of this community can be role models to the rest of society

We are a close-knit community full of friends and family, familiar strangers, and unique individuals. We hope that everyone feels they can freely express themselves at Tight Crew events without fear of judgment or intolerance. It’s critical that we work together to maintain this community as a welcoming safe space for all of us.
